- Is Energy Planner for individuals or for teams?For any size companies or individuals! Energy Planner is free to sign up and you can even add your team members within a company account as well without any charge.
- How accurate is your work?Accuracy is our most focused part. Every single order will be carefully checked before completion.
- How do I pay? Can I pay by a credit card?You can either use a credit card or store credit by purchasing it.
- Is the Design tool free?Yes, It is free. To use this service, please go to [New Project] > [Layout] and click < Start mapping with google map >. It will lead you to the Design tool. You can directly order a Planset with the Layout you make.
Planset
- What is the expected turnaround time for a Planset?Our standard turnaround time is 2 business days(9am-6pm PST). Please note that If provided order details are insufficient or incorrect, It could take longer than standard turnaround time.
- How can I know the process of my order?Once your request is completed or if your order is pending for some reasons, we will notify you via email and also you can check the process on our platform by going to [Project].
- Do you provide a service for commercial solar projects?Absolutely. Our services encompass commercial projects, ranging in size up to 2000kW-dc. However, please note that the timeline for commecial projects may vary based on the project’s scale and intricacy.
- Is revision request free?Requiring revision from AHJ and utility company’s regulation is free. However, if these requirements were made by your mistake or any revision not required from AHJ and utility company’s regulation, revision fee will be caused.
- What’s included in the Planset?It includes cover sheet, site plan, wire diagram and electrical calculation, solar structure detail, signage and placard, spec sheets, certification documentation. You can customize the included pages. Ask us more about details.
- What brand/model equipment do you provide?We try to cover all brand/model equipment for customer needs. However, If you can't find certain equipment in the select list, you can simply add new equipment in the list by typing a few information.
- How many states does Energy Planner cover for?We cover every state in the United States following the AHJ building code.
- Does Energy Planner provide PE stamps service?Yes, we provide PE stamps service(available with additional charge) in a limited location as of now. Please contact us for more details.
Layout
- Why should I use the Layout services?Professional engineers will help you to optimize solar module layout and comply with current codes. Quick turnaround time will save you time and make your work more efficient.
- Can I propose a solar module layout by Energy Planner platform?Yes, if you don’t have a layout then you can draw your own on our platform by going to [New Project > Layout > Mapping with google map]. Our design tool is simple, quick and even free!
- Can I request a revision for Layout?Yes, Please note that revision fee may be caused depending on the request reasons.
- Does Energy Planner customize design based on customer’s standard?Yes, please provide preferred design details when you place your order. It will shorten your time and make the layout more accurate.
- What is the expected turnaround time for a Layout?The standard turnaround time for layout requests is 1 business day. However, it could take longer if provided order details are incorrect or insufficient.

- How can I create/add users within a company account?You can create users by going to [Setting > Create User]. Each user can have a different role and permission for service use. If you want to learn more about user permissions, please click on this page.
- Is there a limit to creating users?You can create users without any charge and limit!
